The Volkswagen brand has been named one of 10 Most Awarded Brands of 2019 by Kelley Blue Book.  This model year there have been eight Kelley Blue Book awards given to VW models, including three for the Golf family, two for the Atlas and two for the VW Jetta.  With such innovative features, stylish designs, and powerful, efficient performance, it is no surprise that the Volkswagen lineup has been honored so often!

IIHS Top Safety Pick Rating For 2018 VW Tiguan

The 2018 VW Tiguan has received the 2017 IIHS Top Safety Pick Rating.  This is for models equipped with the available Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking system.  

The Good rating is given to vehicles that excel in IIHS crash tests in five categories.  Those include side impact, frontal impact moderate overlap, frontal impact small overlap, head restraints, and roof strength.  The Tiguan also received a Superior rating in the Autonomous Emergency Braking Test.

2018 VW Atlas Named Wards 10 Best User Experience Award Winner

The all-new 2018 Volkswagen Atlas has been named a Wards 10 Best User Experience award winner.  This award honors smart, safe, and connected vehicles that are new or updated or have new/ updated technology for this model year.  Editors evaluated 22 vehicles to test out the technology availability and ease-of-use.  Especially important was the function of the feature and the user-friendliness of the controls.  

The 2018 VW Atlas was acknowledged for its variety of user-friendly features including driver assistance features.  It has effective features such as quick phone pairing, easy to navigate touchscreen, and an uncluttered display.  The available driver assistance features tested seemed confident and smooth in their function.  This created an excellent user experience for the vehicle testers.

The award will be presented at the 2017 Wards Auto User Experience Conference in October.
