From VW.com:

Matt Marion, deputy editor at Men's Health magazine, recently reached the half-million mile mark in his 2011 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T -- and wanted to see if his maintenance regime had helped the car's turbocharged powerplant hum so reliably for so long.  Marion's blog that details his efforts to help his 2001 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T reach 500,000 miles culminated in a trip to Volkswagen Group of America's Auburn Hills Technical Center in Michigan to get their expert take on his car's condition.
