The 2019 model year is your last chance to drive home in a new fun-to-drive VW Beetle.  This will be its final year of production!  That doesn't mean Volkswagen hasn't made some exciting changes to the 2019 model.  All Beetle Coupe and Convertible trim levels are available as Final Edition models.  These models can be purchased in two colors not available for any other Beetle trim:  Stonewashed Blue Metallic and Safari Uni.

Exciting Changes For 2019 VW Models

Exciting changes are coming for the 2019 model year of Volkswagen vehicles!  Expect several special edition options for our cars and SUVs for the next model year.  That includes the VW Beetle Final Edition (pictured above) which will mark the last year of Beetle production.  The Volkswagen Golf GTI Rabbit Edition will be a limited production run with a nod to the heritage of the Rabbit.  In addition, the Golf R models will have VW Spektrum program capability offering 40 custom colors!

VW Beetle Production Coming to an End

Volkswagen has announced the end of production for its popular Beetle line-up.  The company will be focusing more on family-focused vehicles and an electrification platform.  Though a return for the future was not ruled out, the 2019 VW Beetle will be the last year of production.  This model will be available in two trim levels:  Final Edition SE and Final Edition SEL.  Both trims will be available in coupe and convertible options and will come with a 2.0-liter TSI engine.  This powerful and efficient engine creates 174 hp while also providing an estimated 26 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.
