All-New 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport Unveiled

2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport

Volkswagen has revealed its exciting new model -- the 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport.  This midsize SUV, with comfortable and roomy seating for five, offers a stylish coupe-like design and the best of innovative driver-assistance technology and connectivity systems.

The Atlas Cross Sport builds on the distinctive styling and capability of the larger seven-seating Atlas but with a slightly smaller build.  It is 2.8-inches shorter than the Atlas and also 2.3-inches lower for easier entry and exit.  However, it shares the Atlas' 117.3-inch wheelbase, providing this SUV with an exceptional amount of interior space.  You can expect to have 40.3 cu. ft. of space in the roomy cargo area behind the second-row seats.  Or, fold down the second row for a generous 77.8 cu. ft. of cargo space.

The 2020 Atlas Cross Sport will have a few feature upgrades, like the new steering wheel with a variety of intuitive controls.  Available luxury features will include heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a Fender® Premium Audio System with an impressive 12 speakers.  Choose the SEL or SEL Premium trim levels for the VW Digital Cockpit feature that allows you to configure your instrument display.  Connectivity is accomplished with the VW Car-Net suite of features.  That includes a list of services you will enjoy for five years without charge, plus new subscription options for those with a fee.  Apps, such as Car-Net Remote Access, provide the ability for owners to interact with their vehicle remotely.  That includes using the remote start and stop (if equipped), find last parked located, and remote lock and unlock.

The Atlas Cross Sport will wow you with an exceptional selection of available advanced driver-assistance.  Even the base model will have standard Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Traffic Alert.  This SUV will introduce two new available features-  Traffic Jam Assist and Dynamic Road Sign Display.  Traffic Jam Assist uses front camera and sensors to maintain a set following distance to vehicle in front.  It operates at low speeds and can bring the vehicle to a full stop as needed.  Dynamic Road Signs Display is available for models with factory-installed navigation.  It will display speed limit, school zone, work zone, and no-passing zone information on the navigation screen as it is detected by the front camera or provided by navigation system data.

More information on this exciting model will be available before its launch in Spring 2020!  Emich Volkswagen in Denver will keep you updated regarding the vehicle's availability so you know when you can buy yours for an enhanced Colorado drive.
