Volkswagen has announced changes for the 2016 model year vehicles. Many of the changes involve an emphasis on technology such as connectivity and infotainment. Changes include:
-- Redesigned VW Jetta GLI
-- New entry-level VW e-Golf trim
-- Most models will receive the new MIB II Infotainment System that features USB and VW Car-Net® App-Connect
-- New driver assistance features added to VW CC, VW Golf family, and VW Jetta models
-- Automatic Post-Collision Braking System added to VW Beetle and VW Jetta models
-- Lane Departure Warning added VW CC and VW Golf models
-- Parking Steering Assistant added to VW Golf models (except Golf R)
-- Refreshed VW Passat available later in model year 2016
